Blog Ho!

It's like a construction project with no blueprints. Just keeps changing repeatedly. No end in sight yet. For now, SkunkRatt stuff will be hosted here so I can keep the main blog generic.

Long Time

Really has been a long time since my last post to this blog.  Some of the other blogs have had more recent activity due to current interests.  For this one I just haven't been interested in blogging about my workout regimen.  This blog slowly started to have that type of focus which became boresville after a while.

After moving  back home I lost the motivation to keep active basically becoming a fatty.  I'd like to workout but I really don't have a particular goal to focus on.  Generally, I don't workout for my health, family, or friends.  With me I workout for specific goals only.

My primary goal was for strength training and endurance for hiking.  The last time we went on a good hike was last year around this time.  If that happens again then I'll be back on some sort of solo training program.  Yep I don't like training with anyone other than myself which is kind of how I work.

Until then I'm satisfied with my occasional workouts and excessive overeating!  After all you only live once.  If you're always worried about staying in shape you miss the point of living.

Revolution Resolution

Now in 2009 the resolutions we make continue in a spiral of revolving wishes. All I can say is enjoy! Eat, sleep, and be merry!!!!

Getting Into Gear

Picked up an excellent condition used exercise bike on the cheap ($25). Been using it fairly regular. My ass and tail bone gets sore though. I dunno if I'm just too fuggin fat and heavy or ain't sitting right. Damn good sweat though!

Lazy a$$ ba$turd!

Dang I been a lazy a$$. Kept up the hardcore workouts until mid 2007 or so. Right around the time of the last hike (in April). After that I backslid into fattyville. :)

I need to get my $hit together again. Sooooo lazy though. Plus I AM an old fart now so I guess that's kind of playing trips with my mind. That and I don't really have anything to prove.

Wish me luck!

Cutbacks Are Inevitable

Just like big bro and big biz, cutbacks for me are also inevitable. I've run out and haven't replenished a bunch of stuff. The last thing I ran out of was Leukic. It gave me a good boost and kept me focused. Now I keep slipping into darkness with longer rests.

Probably won't go back to it though since I 've been able to keep the pumps going. Also, could just be that the dumbells are too damn light again. Ugh, more money out the window!! :(

FORTEEZ

Ok. I gave in and picked up two 40s from TSA. They had the same sale (20%) from when I got the plates in December. It was so good that I couldn't pass it up this time. The total for two came out to not much more than the price of one dumbell from Walmart, Kmart, and other shops.

I incorporated the 40s into my workout this morning. Since I've been doing 15 to 20 reps for the 30s the 40s were a smooth transition. The only problem I had was on one of the inclines cause of my bum shoulders. Lotta stretching is the only way to get around it... well that and sucking it up.

Cheap+Not So Cheap=0

Yep, I'm too cheap. Not only is the dumbell too clumsy it is also too heavy by 10lbs. I should have just picked up two hexes instead.

Anyway, I didn't cheap out too much on supps this time. Trying Glutamine-R now. Seems to be helping my shoulders out since I didn't lose much strength on my presses today. I'll give it a good month or two to see.
